Study Of The Asphalt Pavement Structure Durability Based On The Function Of Layers

The construction practice indicated that the currently asphalt pavement structure in China has the issues of insufficient durability, and there are external and internal factors which affected the durability. the road pavement structure is the major factor. In view of the above, this paper form the early damage and it's mechanism of the asphalt pavement to start with, after study varieties of pavement structure under load mechanical laws and stratigraphic features, the durable asphalt pavement structure research launched.This paper, starting with the current domestic existing asphalt pavement types and phenomenon of early damage analysis, focusing on single asphalt pavement structure, early damage and short service time of highway in our country, analyses existing types and mechanisms of asphalt pavement early damage phenomenon, determines its corresponding mechanical index and its most negative point positions, and with which further determines applicable funtion of each layer. This paper further adopt software Bisar 3.0 to do mechanical analysis to different asphalt pavement structure modulus and thickness types on the impact of major design pavement performance indicators. In further, based on division of labor pavement layers and influencing factors of asphalt mixture performance, this paper decides asphalt mixtures for each layer, and recommends several reasonable forms of pavement structures with comparison of serving lives to that of current using asphalt pavement, with conclusion that these pavement structures could avoid early damage, increase duribility and save cost.
