| As the economy developed rapidly, the state government has paid more attention on the infrastructure, especially on the road infrastructure. People apply for more and more efficient road net. So in order to achieve people's demand, it is necessary to build more construction of a large number of tunnels in cold regions. How to provide the safe, reasonable and economical measures to avoid or reduce frost damage in tunnels, this question has became an significant issue.The essay makes the tunnel Balegendaban as the background plate. It processes from the temperature distribution in the tunnel. Through the tests for the tunnel atmospheric temperature and internal temperature field, we can accumulate the tunnel area and the tunnel surrounding rock temperature distribution and variation; get the analysis of the relationship between these features and ambient temperature, the geologic and hydrological conditions in tunnel. And then we calculate the tunnel temperature field theoretically, use the finite element software to build a finite element model of tunnel temperature distribution, implements the finite element calculation of the temperature distribution change over time with or without insulation layer respectively. Finally, we propose the overall control measures from three aspects that include managing water, improving on the thermal environment and strengthening the lining.
