Software Development Of Measurement & Control Platform For Automobile Component Test Based On Host-slave Computer Mode

The equipment used for automobile component test is playing an important role in the product design and development. In view of the progress of automobile and its components in our country, it is definitely significant to develop an intelligent, automatic and precise measurement and control system for automobile component test combined with advanced measurement and control technology.This paper discusses the method of software development of measurement and control platform for automobile component test based on host-slave computer mode.The main contents are as follows:①A new framework of measurement and control software used for automobile component test, which is based on modularization, was presented on the basis of sufficiently studying on the characteristics of automobile component test.②Each function module is divided based on framework mentioned above and function requirement, the functional classes of the software was developed.③It focuses on the research in the aspect of measurement and control platform's actual working condition, Afterwards, it can be achieved that each module performs its task concertedly with others and finally fulfill the task by multithread technology.④The USB driver based on WDM for host is developed in the DriverStudio integrated development environment.⑤On the basis of the analysis for features of communication between host and slave, USB communication was carried out by public message structure of Modbus protocol, and USB communication interface for host was designed.The applications of vehicle shock absorber noise detecting system and Magneto drilling and test integrated equipment verified that the method to design the software of measurement and control platform for automobile component test has well practicability, which also can offer useful reference for the development similar test system.
