The Research And Development On Support System For Car Checking Fixture Intelligent Design Application

With the rapid development of the auto industry, the demand of the checking fixture has been greatly improved. So it is a press need to improve the design efficiency and testing quality of the checking fixture. But so far there isn't any professional CAD software for checking fixture. Speaking to the structure of checking fixture, it contains a lot of standard parts. So the design process of checking fixture is boring and easy to make mistakes. In addition, checking fixture is used to test and analyze the auto parts. So the design and testing precision of the checking fixture is more important. But now the checking fixture is mainly tested by coordinate detector and almost all the current testing system can't generate testing report automatically. The tester must copy and analyze testing data step by step. It's a waste of time and energy. And it also has a bad effect on the test quality.Under this background, the fundamental technology of the checking fixture design and testing, the re-development on CAD software, parameter-driven design methodology of establishing standard parts library and the testing technology of checking fixture were researched comprehensively in this paper. A support system of car checking fixture intelligent design and application was designed. The system has two modules.First, speaking to the car checking fixture intelligent design module, the design flow and related knowledge of car checking fixture has been collected and analyzed. And then the intelligent car checking fixture design system based on CAD software was presented. Based on the Client/Server based distributed architecture and the Kernel/Shell technology, a hybrid programming and COM technology was introduced, and a standard parts system which is available in different kind of CAD platform and database system was set up. Based on UG and the database SQL Server, the standard parts system has been verified in this article.Speaking to the checking fixture testing report module, take the diversity needs of custom formats for checking fixture testing report into account, the intelligent generation system of car checking fixture-testing report was designed into open model of"Main Interface Framework & Expanded Plug-in". Then the testing report which is both with picture and word can be generated automatically. Then the working efficiency has been greatly improved.Now, some functions of the system have been used in industry successfully. The working efficiency has been greatly improved and the development cycle of products had been shortened too.
