| The introduction of the No.2 unit of thermal power plant in YunGang has been done combining characteristics of direct air-cooled units, and then the thermodynamic calculation on boiler and turbine after overhaul has been conducted. Analyzing the reasons on how to improve the efficiency before and after overhaul, the suggestions about how to adjust the boiler and turbine operation are given. According to the characteristics of direct air-cooled units, the performance of air-cooled island has been calibrated. The factors of influencing air-cooling unit economically operating (especially air-cooled island) are analyzed in detail. The economic operation schemes are put forward from three different aspects: start, operation and shutdown.
