With rapid development in last fifty years, Variable Structure Control has been one independent branch of automate control research. And it is catching more and more attention from many fields, such as motive power and electric power system control, control of robots, aircraft and so on, which benefits from the desire of precision and stability of control systems in practical application. As a rising, new technology, High Pressure Common Rail System is recognized as one of three most significant break through in the field of internal-combustion engine, which has stricter requirement on the precision and stability of electric control system. This requirment include real-time control of oil pressure in High Pressure Common Rail System, since the oil pressure directly affects the realization of system oil injection rule. In order to ontrol oil pressure in High Pressure Common Rail System effectively, there are there main tasks presented in this dissertation:(1) Dynamical equation is established, based on which system equation of state is built.(2) It is also necessary to design variable structure controller and PID controlller, and then the effect of two controllers are valued.(3) And using Hardware-in-the-Loop to bring the simulation maximal closed to practical application is an indispensable part of the design. Also, the effect of two controllers are valued.
