In recent years, the construction of asphalt pavement has made great achievements. But in the new era,along with the development of national economy, china's transport task is increasing heavy and new changes in traffic conditions have appeared,which led to lots of dilapidations forms on the asphalt pavement and caused huge economic losses to the country. However,the design and evaluation methods of the skeleton structure of asphalt mixture is gradually revealed. Therefore, in order to improve our level of asphalt pavement construction, it is necessary to study the evaluation methods of the skeleton structure of asphalt mixture deeply.This paper analyzes the flaws of Chinese and foreign existing evaluation methods of skeleton of asphalt mixture. Based on this,design the new Cone test method to evaluate asphalt mixture of coarse aggregate skeleton's interlocked-denseness capacity. Specifically, the study includes asphalt mixture and its skeleton design methods,analysis the existing design method of asphalt mixture's skeleton and find the problems in them. Invent the new forming machines for skeleton;A study on the method of evaluating asphalt mixture of coarse aggregate skeleton's interlocked-denseness capacity. Based on relational demonstration and analysis,this text propose the test methods of operation and basic test parameters and put forward the energy of penetration as a indicator to evaluate the capacity of the skeleton. Analyze asphalt mixture of coarse aggregate skeleton's interlocked-denseness capacity. Conduct cone penetration test according to the previous design of the test method, which aimed to analyze coarse aggregate skeleton's interlocked-denseness capacity of different material sources, proportions, the different degree of the skeleton dense and confirmed using cone penetration test to evaluate coarse aggregate skeleton's interlocked-denseness capacity. Consider the theoretical model of Cone penetration test according to the mechanical characteristics of the cone head and analyze the force of it. Propose the theory of computation of the head's force for different stages. Some shortcoming that numerical simulation can,t effectively applied in cone penetration test are proposed. Several problems need to be solved in numerical simulation; for instance,finite deformation problem, contact between pile and aggregate, constitutive model of aggregate and loading problems. Displacement fields, stress fields and strain fields are researched via finite element model that accords with actual process of cone penetration test. The results show that:the new type of skeleton forming device form the skeleton which have good stability and low crushing rate of aggregate and so on. By making a lot of tests, it was founded that the energy of penetration can be used as a indicator to evaluate the different skeleton. In additional,it is possible to calculate the head's force of different stages through theoretical modeling. At last, the numerical results show that the finite element method can realize the numerical simulation of cone penetration test.
