Study On Renovation Of Urban Parks In Xi'An

Urban park as an important component of urban green space system, hosts the city's social, economic, and environmental multiple features, and will continue to evolve with the development of the city from the date of its completion. Their quality directly impacts people's daily lives and the overall image of the city. In order to meet the needs of modern people and match the surrounding environment, we should transform and renewal the urban parks which was outdated or was not conform to development direction of the city planning timely.The renovation of the current study was mostly on a park or a certain class of park, but less focusing on analysis of the overall situation of the urban parks'transformation in one city. This article is intended to study the situation and characteristics of the development of urban parks in Xi'an, by summarizing their modification of the status and problems, to make targeted improvement ideas and methods for them, and hope to pretend the reference improvement ideas and methods for urban park of other cities.The article includes the following contents:Firstly,systematic study the domestic and international reconstruction theory of urban parks,summed up the current universal issues, the necessity and urgency of reform changes, reform ways, methods and strategies , the current problems in reconstruction and the development trends in the future.Secondly, on the basis of experience in domestic and outstanding Park transformation theory and practice, study the transformation of urban parks in Xi'an combined with the realistic development and reconstruction of them. By investigating the conduct of the actual condition of the Park, then summarized the existing problems of transformation, proposed targeted strategies, and pointed out the renewal trends and goals for the development of the urban parks in Xi'an.Once again, chose Lianhu Park, Changle Park and Cien Temple ruins Park as three representative stages to analysis and make evaluations.Finally, analysis and summarize the renovation problems of urban parks in Xi'an, investigate the strategies and forecast the direction of the development.
