Energy-saving Design Strategy Of Public Building In North Of Shan Xi Province

The weather feature of Northern Shan xi is dry in summer and cold in winter. Because of this condition, the building thermal environment is very bad there. What is more serious is that the extreme shortage of consideration about the energy conservation of building both on old and new public buildings. Along with the problems of waste of high energy-consuming building and the environmental pollution become more and more serious, we have to rethink of the public building and its surrounding, have a deeply comprehensive analysis from the deign process in order to achieve the real building energy conservation.This paper is a research about the creative design of public energy conservation building in the city of Northern Shan xi. It analyses the regional geographical environment, climatic characteristics, quo development status of this district. Combining with the ecological concept accumulated from local traditional architecture and community, the analysis of this paper utilizes modern techniques and ideas; wants to suggest a complete and comprehensive method for modern public energy-saving building which is fit for the local environment.The purpose of this paper is to extract more effective and practical design methods of energy-saving, including the construction of the location, shape, space, construction, materials, practices and etc, to provide a guide the actual project.Finally, through the study of the actual project in Northern Shan xi, this paper argues and proofs the design method of public building which will provide more accurate factual basis for further enhancement of design method.
