The bridge structure, especially large bridge structure, has the characteristics that the constrction period is too long and the construction process is complex. During the construction, the overall resistance of the structure has not yet formed, the structure's material stiffness and strength are constantly changing, and the structure bears a large number of temporary facilities and load, so the transient system which consists of unfinished parts and support system components is dangerous. How to make the rusults of structural analysis more truly reflect the actual mechanics of the bridge structure to ensure the design's security and economy is the problem which can be sovled by the time-varying mechanics. Construction mechanics is a kind of mechanical performance of time-varying mechanics in construction. The main difference between construction mechanics and classical mechanics is that the analyzied object's geometry, boundary conditions and physical conditions change with the time, and the corresponding stiffness, mass, damping, and load are also a function of time.In this dissertation, construction mechanics is the basis and the research object is PC tied arch. The finite element software MIDAS is used to analyze the stability of the model in the construction. The dissertation focuses on the factors to the stability of transient arch such as suspenders's tension, collar beam's prestress, non-directional force and temporary braces and provides a theoretical basis for the construction of PC tied arch.
