With the fast development of China's economy, high-speed railway has entered a stage of rapid development. Currently, technical specifications and core technologies of CTCS-3 train control system are under study with Radio Block Center (RBC) as its ground kernel equipment, used mainly for the Movement Authority and train interval control, which is also the element that affects the control accuracy, efficiency, reliability and security of important factors of CTCS-3 train control system. With Radio Block Center as its object, the present study carries out modeling and simulation on the basis of the studies on the operating mechanism of CTCS-3 train control system.The present thesis gives an introduction to the train control system both at home and abroad, its development and current situation. Based on CTCS-3 train control system, the author also does a detailed functional decomposition and concludes that RBC system in the CTCS-3 train control system is of great importance and the urgent need of carry out research on it. Then, the function and the overall structure of RBC in CTCS-3 are analyzed. Function requirements of RBC and information exchange process under main train control operational scenarios and train equipment are also presented.Based on the structural function of RBC system, directed graph are designed to build formal model for train control process of RBC. The model adopts the idea of "top-down" to divide the RBC train control model into top model and sub-function models at all levels. Sub-function model includes movement authorization model, registration and launch model, grade conversion model, Initial movement authority model, RBC switch model, temporary speed model and write-off model.Based on the established the train control process of RBC directed-graph models, RBC simulation system are designed with VC++6.0 as its development platform, combined with computer interlocking simulation, CTC center simulation and train-borne simulation system. RBC simulation test program are also designed. Under the simulation environment, the RBC multi-train operation control, RBC switching and other test and function verification are achieved and completed.
