Liangjiazi reservoir as the only surface water source has played an irreplaceable role in the city of nongan since the completion of 30 years. with the socio-economic development of nongan, Natural runoff of Liangjiazi reservoir can not meet the growing demand for urban water supply. Government has implemented water diversion schemes for Liangjiazi reservoir from the second Songhua River in 1996.It completed the demarcation of protected areas in 2004.As the second Songhua River water transport using pine open channel irrigation,large water losses along the water transportation, and water quality are vulnerable to pollution, the " water supply guidelines in the central cities of Jilin Province " establish a new water diversion scheme from the xinlicheng Reservoir in Changchun, and the water project was completed by the end of 2008 ."Drinking Water Source Protection Zone Partition Technical Specifications" (HJ/T338-2007 ) issued by State Environmental Protection department in 2007 and the implementation of "The People's Republic of China Water Pollution Control Law" (June 1, 2008) on the water source protection zone partition and management requirements new regulations were made; as the water source of Liangjiazi reservoir changes, and the environmental factors of reservoir water resource protection zone around also change. Therefore, the protection of water sources and water quality from pollution, to establish a rational division water sources, water sources pollution control measures to strengthen the research work of water resources have a great significance for the development of sustainable .Analysis factors affecting drinking water source protection area is the premise of protection zone partition reasonably. Through natural environment, socio-economic environment, the current situation of ecological environment investigation of the Liangjiazi reservoir basin, we draw a conclusion that factors affecting drinking water source protection area are the following two main factors:①The residents in the River basin mainly engaged in agricultural production, they mainly cultivated corn at present. The chemical fertilizers and pesticides discharged in the agricultural activities, which were bound to affect the quality of reservoir water. The Investigation and evaluation of pollutant sources that the drinking water sources of Liangjiazi reservoir ,it showed that the main pollutant sources came from the non-point source. It mainly came from distributed pollution sources of rural life in protected areas, radical flow pollution in agriculture and distributed animal Husbandry pollution.②The economy developed so fast in Nongan county, the Nongan county project a new industrial concentration area,it will construct in the south of water source and is 0.5KM from area for secondary water source protection in 2006. Liangjiazi Reservoir water quality was evaluated for ClassⅢby monitoring continuously indexes and was unable to meet the requirement of National GradeⅡdue to higher COD,TN , TP and CODMn and organic pollution。The Maximum concentration of TN and COD were discovered in July;The Maximum concentration of CODMn was discovered in August;The Maximum concentration of TP was discovered in May and November.General, the key pollutants of Liangjiazi Reservoir take on ascend trend from march to july , some water quality of water quality monitoring section is higher in wet season.According to "Drinking Water Source Protection Zone Partition Technical Specifications" (HJ/T338-2007 ),we review and adjustment water source protection zone partition of Liangjiazi reservoir in nongan using the experience method. We put forward reasonable water source protection zone partition programme according to the actual situation.Water source for the two sub-major environmental issues, the paper proposed pollution control engineering, ecological restoration and construction projects and other measures of water source protection zone. Through these measures, it can cut off external sources of pollution, govern internal sources of pollution and ensure that water quality are fundamentally improved of Liangjiazi reservoir.The study of water source protection and pollution control measures of Liangjiazi reservoir laid the groundwork for water source protection of Liangjiazi reservoir.
