Study On Online Detecting Porcelain Insulators By A Novel Detector

Transmission line insulators are a large amount of important electrical equipments.Therefore,online detecting the low-value insulators accurately and economically plays a vital role for secuity and stability of power system.For some current methods of detecting the insulators,they have some disadvantages such as:the results are not precise,the operation is so complex.First of all,the paper did some simulation analysis for the key technology of the detector and then a novel faulty online insulator detector is designed.By using the device,the low-value insulators can be tested effectively. The device can send the resistance data through the wireless data-transmission system and realizes the real-time data display and storage by using computer,also it enables the detector to have some intelligence.At last,the detail results of the experiments shows that the funtion of the detector can be a very good implementation.At the same time,an authoritative test report was issued by the testing organization.
