The implementation of energy conservation generation dispatching policy will change China's current dispatching mode that allocating generation capacity according to the average number of generation hours in province, therefore there is great practical significance to study the optimal dispatching algorithms. This paper is inspired from linear and non-linear programming algorithms such as primal-dual interior point method(PDIP). A suitable average coal consumption acquire method has been presented under energy conservation generation dispatching mode by fitting the second order coal consumption curve. The matrix reduction combined with predictor-corrector technology has been applied to improve the convergence speed of PDIP method. A multi-periods semi-definite programming algorithm(SDP) base on PDIP has been put and delt with the oscillatory convergence problem owing to the increase of system scale. The optimization results siganify the the feasibility and effectiveness of PDIP algorithms in dealing with security constrained dispatching problem under energy congservation generation dispatching mode.
