An Exploration On Art And Culture Of The Ancestral Temple In The Western Of Zhejiang

Country-positivist inspect is the popular academic research way in art field recently. Based on the research of sociology and social anthropology, it takes artistic perspective in arts to prove and analyze the complex social relationship and interpersonal social structure in different times systematically. This paper takes the particular geographical environment of Western Zhejiang as the research background, and takes graphic & text form to present about twenty typical ancestral halls, garden halls and famous temples in this area ecologically.On the basis of the combination of theories and research methods of subjects such as anthropology, sociology, history, archaeology, architecture, estheticism, this paper observes and analyzes the architectural history and characteristics from the concept of environmental designing and the microcosmic perspective. This paper elaborates historical development, structural features, material type, decorative pattern, artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of ancestral temples in the western of Zhejiang.
