Along with the development of information technology, the develop level in building automation is higher and higher. As the necessary vertical transportation equipment in high-rise building, Elevator's technology is improved little by little. The general problems in traditional elevators group scheduling are analyzed in the paper and corresponding improvement plan for the existing scheduling technology is proposed also.The main work in this paper includes:Firstly, because of the delaying and uncompleted travelers information, it is hard to gain global optimized performance for the traditional elevators scheduling system. On the basis of the total information including initial floor, destination floor and the number of travelers, the step-scheduling algorithm for elevators system is proposed in the thesis.Secondly, on the basis of the information of time for riding elevators and waiting elevators and the information of all kinds of elevators status, pricing functions and scheduling computing procedure about single elevator and two elevators are proposed respectively. The advantage of the algorithm is proved by simulation. The optimized result about scheduling algorithm in two elevators can be gained and its feasibility is analyzed by real examples.Thirdly, the idea of scheduling two elevators is promoted for several elevators. The corresponding pricing function for scheduling several elevators is given and the optimized process is analyzed also.One example for elevator scheduling is analyzed in detail in the thesis. The advantages in proposed algorithm can be proved based on comparing performance index in traditional algorithm with those in the kind of algorithm in the paper by computer simulation technology. Current elevator scheduling technology is summarized and overviewed and the development trend of elevators scheduling idea is predicted in the paper at last.
