U-tube heat exchanger is widely applied for its unique structural characteristics and use of properties in the petrochemical industry. However, due to its more complex control panel, the tube sheet was deformed and damaged easily which could cause seal failure. Once the event of the leak happened,not only the entire millions of device can't reuse, chemical production line shut down, but also it would cause personal injury accident and would spent a lot of manpower and resources. Because of its large size and weight, conventional machining equipment can't repair and process in-place, and no online repair method. While offline repair, it has a great impact on production for large input of manpower, material resources, high cost, long construction period and long discontinuation.The topic researched on repairing and processing of the tube sheet's sealed surface after completion for the U-tube heat exchanger, and given the special prosthetic device's control system. Trajectories requirements and processing requirements under different seal species were summarized by analyzing the seal species of the sealing surface,on this basis, electro-mechanical control scheme of the NC device was determined:Main motion system is asynchronous motor driving, two feed motion system is step-motor driving,the main controller is PLC programmable logic controller,position controll module FX2N-20GM which has a two-axis linear or circular interpolation function is used to complete repairing arid processing of the tube sheet's sealed surface in the control system.In order to operate facilitately, the portable handling box was designed,and its man-computer interface was developed.The article analized and validated the theory that processing circular grooves in sealed surface can improve sealing performance,and the new measure was put forward that additional ring watermark could improve the sealing performance.The topic solved online repair processing of the tube sheet's sealed surface,brought great convenience for users and manufacturers,cost savings,improved economic efficiency. Due to simple operation, convenient transportation package, strong specific, the prosthetic device has great market value.
