This paper is based on the program of military extensible compartment. It establishes the structure of the compartment, analyses and optimizes the frame by APDL language of ANSYS10.0.The strength and stiffness are the frame's basic requirements. The paper studies the strength and stiffness of the compartment as to ascertain the structure's displacement and von mises stress, so that the defects of design can be found out. And the conclusion can give references for the following optimization. The paper mainly selects four working conditions to study the situation of displacement and stress as follows:static flex (uniform motion in the straight line), static torsion (the road is steep), hard brake and hard turn.Design cars, the natural frequencies should be staggered so that the excitation frequency to avoid resonance and noise. Strength and stiffness of the frame on the vehicle dynamic characteristics of the vibration comfort, ride comfort, safety and life has a great impact. Therefore, the inherent characteristics of the frame structure of the modal analysis is meaningful work.Harmonic response analysis is intended to ensure that a given structure can can bear a variety of different frequency sine load function, detecting resonance response and, where necessary, to avoid its occurrence. In this paper, mode superposition method for the van harmonic analysis,4 feature points obtained three degrees of freedom of frequency-response curves of displacement. The paper optimizes the beams'section's parameters for the lightweight design based on large optimization soft ware by APDL language.The finite element analysis provides valid theory and methods for the simulation and optimization of the compartment frame and dynamic capacity through the paper's study. And the study ways of this paper can give some reference points to the design of some other special vehicles.
