Now the high-rise buildings are more than before, they have unique shapes, various section forms. they are becoming higher, and more flexible. they are sensitive to the wind effect because their particularity, wind load is the one of principal loads in their designs. So it is necessary to measure the distribution of the wind pressure on the surface of the buildings.Symmetric twin-towers buiding, and two irregular elevation models are numerically simulated for their wind pressures. The numerical simulation is completed by using CFD software Fluent6.2.16 in this paper. The research work of this paper is mainly focused on the following aspects:Firstly, it presents research findings of the computational wind engineering. Also introduces the basic theory of the wind effect to the structure and static-equivalent wind load.Next it makes a brief introduction of the basic theory and the concept of CFD. The major content are as follows. It gives the establishment and discrete of universal form of governing equations; The explanations on numercial solutions of flow fields were given; And it discusses the classfications of turbulence simulation methods and near-wall treatment method. Finally, in order to study the interference effects between two towers and the aerodynamic loads on irregular structures, numerical simulations are performed to the three complex high-rise buildings. First chosing proper grid for the fluid zones when construct the models of the buildings. It uses exponential wind speed and RNG k-εtubulence model incorporate with standard wall function in the simulation. Also SIMPLEC arithmetic method and second order upwind are used for pressure-velocity coupling and turbulence dissipation rate. This paper simulates the wind pressures of the buildings surface at different wind directions, total 24 cases. It analyzes the wind pressures and compares with the test results of wind tunnel. And they are according to each other well. This demonstrates the accuracy and validity of numerical method. The main conclusion are as follows.1. Left tower are less influenced by right tower when it lies front. but the corridor's influence couldn't be ignored; The influence of left tower to the right changes with the change of wind direction. The wind incidence is one of the important factors that influence the wind pressure distribution.2. The section indentations of the irregular structures cause the decrease of wind pressure;.The results of this paper can provide useful guidelines and references to the design of similar constructions.
