There are many rivers in the western region of China, which are rich in water resources but mostly mountain rivers, the water level fluctuation is enormous with seasonal changes, which is up to 30 meters or more. After the Three Gorges reservoir built up and the water level is 175m, Therefore, overhead Ro-Ro wharf becomes the first choice in order to reduce the cost of constructing ports in deepwater area of varied back water region wharf and raise the efficiency of general sloping wharf. This paper combines with Chongqing highway and waterway transportation key long-term scientific and technological development project "Three Gorges Reservoir Truck Ro-Ro Wharf Standardized Research ", relying on integrated berth wharf project of Chongqing Jiangjin Shimen port, based on modal analysis, response spectrum analysis and dynamic time-history analysis theories, studies the mechanical properties of overhead sloping wharf in Three Gorges varied back water reservoir area. First through the modal analysis, this paper obtained the dynamic characteristics of this structure, giving reference for relevant design. Second, this paper gets the structure responses caused by earthquake action with response spectrum method for seismic analysis of this structure, and on this basis, makes the response spectrum analysis of different gradient overhead sloping structures to get this structure responses caused by earthquake action on different gradient. Finally, it makes the dynamic time-history analysis of different gradient overhead sloping ramp, makes clear the weak link and the force transmission route of this structure under moving load action. On this basis, it gets the reasonable gradient of overhead sloping ramp starting from rational structure and mechanical properties.
