now, many buildings biult in the sixties and the seventies or even more earlier are still in service, these buildings have been or will soon reach the normal life span, and, given the technical conditions at that time and the use of functional requirements, more problems such as single-function or Simple-structure or aged form appeared. it is even more important that the requirements for seismic resistance has not complete or the standards are too low at that time.so all aspects of the building can not meet the contemporary complex and comprehensive requirements increasingly.Given the above reason, many methods have been used to extend the buildings'life and to enhance the seismic performance, at the same time, such ways just as increasing the functional facilities, improving the building function, enhancing building aesthetics have been put into use in order to meet the complex requirements of the constructionTere are many examples of comprehensive reformment in Shanxi Province, and the technological conditions have became more maturable, integrated with seismic strengthening reform, and such innovations have achieved a better political, economic, social and cultural benefits. However, inspection of these buildings, mostly based on the counterparts, the professional norms, laws, regulations, etc. and the evaluations cann't be objective, scientific and comprehensive. This thesis try to use the metheods of AHP combined with Fuzzy mathematical model to evaluate the seismic results of the two existing public buildings strengthened in Shanxi. the evaluation process of each specific target subtotals have been conducted and, based on key performance given different weights, through comprehensive analysis of scientific computing, have been more comprehensive and objective evaluation of results, it is valided that the methods is scientific and practical.
