To study the air flowing regularities of natural ventilation and predict the distribution of airflow inside the building,to optimize building ventilation, the paper has researched the application of lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) at building ventilation simulation. The study in this paper includes four parts.First, the model of numerical wind tunnel for the simulation of building ventilation based on LBM was constructed, it proposes a general framework for building ventilation LBM simulation.Based on the numerical wind tunnel,a new 2D lattice Boltzmann method for building ventilation was proposed, and used a 2D example to verify the model. Then, a multi-block moldel and coarse and fine mesh model for the simulation of building ventilation was established. It solved the problem of huge computation and long computing time in complex building ventilation simulation, and take residential building for a numerical example. Forthemore,a LBM-LES model of building ventilaiton are proposed for the high Reynolds number region.it make LBM fit the turbulent flow of building ventilaiton。the building ventilation is carried out at Re=50000.Finally,a 3D lattice Boltzmann method for building ventilation was proposed,it can be used to simulation complex three-dimensional flow.the paper alse gives a three-dimensional numerical example which proves our model is avliable for 3D simulating of building ventilation. The study in this paper solved some key problems of simulation of building ventilation based on LBM. It has great impelling action on the simulation of building ventilation based on LBM. It provides a new method for mastering the air flowing regularities of building ventilation and predicting the distribution of airflow inside the building.
