Chinese traditional garden has a rich cultural accumulation. Classical garden is one of our traditional culture essences. In the current ethos of studying from traditions the plastic arts of traditional gardens are used more and more in Natural Scenic Spot. The cultural spirits, construction aesthetic features, integrated features, and entire allocation, which are reflected from the plenty forms of plastic arts, attract more interests. We should not only inherit and innovate traditions, but we should also explore the relationship and significance between ancient and modern garden and parks'creation.Specific background endows the landscape architecture different contains of politics, philosophy, culture. Currently, the land developed in the process of constructing natural scenic spot, creating healthy landscape, building green and livable city, considering the requirement of current development and bringing into Xi'an over-all city planning, Xi'an government proposed and outline of successful practice of Chinese traditional plastic arts scientifically and theoretically, which had practical meaning in maintaining the contemporary ecological balance, satisfying social functional requirements, enhancing economic efficiency, and achieving sustainable development.Based on the practical analysis of landscape architecture, and combined with the expressions of plastic arts of traditional parks in regional characteristics, poetry, and painting, this thesis proposed the significance of the ecological environment of Qujiang construction and scenic spot to modern social development and human settlement. The planning and construction of Qujiang Chi aims to the long-term development, enhancing the living standard of locals. Besides ecological benefits, the project focuses on the harmony between aesthetic and social benefits. Such regional planning improves the landscape and social development of the south suburbs of Xi'an, embodying the unity between scenery and society, as well as the harmony between beauty and practicability. The architectures in Qujiang are closely linked to natural environment, whose layout and forms are largely decided by the historical resources. Such regional planning preserves the natural landscape and humanitarian features, and at the same time, develops and innovates traditional Chinese characteristics.
