Since decades, absorption refrigeration technology, because of heat for drivers, less energy consumption, non-pollution and high efficiency performance, gets rapid development and wide application. Solar energy is a kind of clean and renewable energy. Heat energy collected by solar energy collector can be used for driving the absorption refrigeration system. However, solar energy affected by weather, season, latitude and other influencing factors a lot as well as the low grade of heat energy generated by the collector restrict the development of solar application in absorption refrigeration field.In this paper, according to the characteristics of solar radiation, the model calculation of the solar radiation intensity is available. And the astronomy, geography and climate factors of influence on solar radiation intensity are discussed respectively. In the periodic change of solar radiation intensity circumstances, the performance of vacuum tube collector is analyzed and the factors of affecting the efficiency and export water temperature of vacuum tube collector are found.In order to determining the parameters and the changing trends of the absorption refrigeration circle, the state equations for the system ammonia-water established by S.Schulz are available. After deductions and transformations, ammonia-water mixture thermodynamics formulas for calculating the absorption refrigeration circle parameters are acquired.By adding an ejector to the conventional absorption refrigeration circle, and based on theories of the ejector and the absorption refrigeration cycle, the quality and energy balance equations are established and the performance is simulated in detail for the new system. The effects of condenser temperature, compression ratio and other parameters on the coefficient of performance and generation temperature are discussed respectively.The results show that, although the coefficient of performance decreases a bit, the generation temperature decreases obviously so that low grade of solar energy can be used for driving heat resource of ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system.
