Modern vehicle body's structure concept design is significant for ensuring the body structure's performance. In order to guide the detailed design and offer the best body structure scheme, the structure should be analyzed in detail as much as possible in concept design.The mechanical characteristics of the vehicle structure are determined by the vehicle body's frameworks, and the vehicle body's frameworks are made of lots of beam-like structures whose characteristics are determined by their sections'attributes. So analyzing sections'shapes, thickness in concept design has great influence on the whole vehicle's design and improvement.In this paper, we give out the development of the component structured program based on COMX platform, the beam sections management tool of the auto body's concept design parameterized tool, as the content following:1. Explain the influence of the beam sections on the auto body's concept model;2. Build up the sections library by intercepting, simplifying and restoring the beam sections;3. Explain the basic principle of developing a component structured program based on COMX platform;4. Develop the significant component of the management tool, the memory allocating, data IO and attributes calculating component,5. Develop the interface component and its function of the management tool. |
