This paper summarizes some existing technologies and the importance of multi-voltage quality device firstly, and introduced some popular compensation technology at home and abroad. A new type series connected voltage quality regulator for the multiple objective control basing on the cascaded multilevel H-bridge method is designed in this paper, and the main circuit topology of 10kV/2MVA and 0.4KV/0.1MVA multi-voltage quality device is given with the three-phase. What's more, the working principle is analysis in detail A short-circuit current limiter is designed in this paper, the control strategy multiple objective control is proposed as well. The simulation model is established by PSCAD/EMTDC. Finally, the rationality of the design of the main circuit topology is tested through low-voltage experiment. At last, there is a summarization of the paper and the trend of the multi-voltage quality regulator for the multiple objective control basing on the cascaded multilevel H-bridge is predicted.
