This thesis firstly introduces the general development, the structure types, the development tendency and construction methods of cable-stayed bridge, and discusses the necessity of construction control for cable-stayed bridge and present situation and existed problems of construction monitoring. Then it elaborates construction control theory of cable-stayed bridge, including the classification methods and the content of bridge construction control, as well as construction control systems and the theory and methods of construction error adjustment. On these bases, a complete cable-stayed bridge construction control system for Linhai Bridge, including the construction monitoring system for monitoring the organization, on-site monitoring of implementation of the system, construction control calculation system, and on-site test and measurement systems, is put forward. The results of the construction monitoring for Linhai Bridge are given as follows. In the conditions of the main beam construction and Completion State under dead load , the key project construction monitoring for Linhai Bridge was achieved a complete success. The stress checking of the overall structure and stiffness conversion are both to meet the specifications. The main bridge structure is safe in construction phase and normal construction phase. This thesis have combined theoretical research and real bridge testing, made useful explorations for the type of cable-stayed bridge construction control, which can give reference for the construction control for this type of bridge in future.
