| The hammer is lifted to a certain height by dynamic compactor repeatedly during the construction process. Then it will be released through automatic decoupling device or with the rope and giving an impact of strong energy to the ground. So the shock waves and impact stress is generated to achieve the purpose of strengthening the foundation and improving the carrying capacity of the soil. The course of loading and unloading and the powerful shock wave produced by the impact effects the fatigue life of dynamic compactor. The study of its mechanism will make the fatigue life design of the boom more accurately. So a method of analyzing fatigue life of the boom of dynamic compactor by using the ANSYS/FE-SAFE software is provided.This article uses PRO/E and ANSYS to build a physical model of dynamic compactor of B. Then it uses ANSYS/FE-SAFE software to analyze the fatigue life of the boom. And the nephogram of fatigue life and fatigue safety factor is obtained through the post-processing module of ANSYS. And the fatigue strength of specific structure is determined through it. This can give a theoretical foundation to improve the structure and to increase the fatigue life.A test in the construction site is done to obtain the seismic wave spectrum near the first track roller when the hammer is landing. A spectrum which will be used in ANSYS/FE-SAFE software can be got through using matlab software. The loading and unloading spectrum can be obtained through theoretical analysis. The nephogram of fatigue life and fatigue safety factor can be got through using ANSYS/FE-SAFE software with the effect of the two spectrums separately and together.This calculation method is checked through comparing fatigue life of theoretical calculation with that of reality in the construction site. The improving structure is proposed through analyzing the result. And we can use the ANSYS/FE-SAFE software to Re-analyze the boom to verify the feasibility of the improving structure.It can give an important reference for the design and manufacture of dynamic compactor structure and the safety of the construction site. |
