| The concept design phase is an important phase to ensure the performance of auto body. We need to modify and evaluate the design scheme of auto body structure repeatedly with traditional method. The process needs to create finite element model repeatedly and decide the eventual scheme by comparing. The efficiency is low and the rate is slow in this method. The defects leaved by this phase are hard to make up in the next design phase.In this paper, a new system is constructed based on NX, which is used in the concept design of auto body. The system can create parameterized concept auto body geometry model by template technology. After setting parameters the pro-process can be finished quickly, and then the stiffness and modal can be calculated. This method can shorten the time in auto body concept design phase and reduce the difficulty of operation.In order to validate using this system to design auto body structure, a parameterized auto body model is created by this system in this paper, and the modal and the stiffness are calculated and compared with the results of the detail model. At last, the paper introduces a method of creating detail model, which is integrated with the auto body conception design system, and the detail auto body model is created by using the parameterized auto body model built in this paper. |
