Study On Humanizing Design Of Building Sites In Downtowns

According to the development of social economy and living standard of people, the environmental quality is concerned catholically while people's basic physiological demand has been met. In one hand, as a part of urban public space, the site of building bears culture life, in which the contradiction between the development of city and diversified demands of urbanites is becoming more intense. In the other hand, based upon the recent condition in architecture design-short of humanized consideration, spirit of place and comfort of environment-in our country, it is significant to propose the study on humanized design of building site in city center.This thesis discusses the principle of humanized design of building site in city center with theories analysis and research study, on the basis of behavioral theory and the theory of place.Based on defining the concept of center, space and humanization, this paper concentrates on studying personalization builds the space design principles and methods with practical example and applies classification. Finally, through the fieldwork and questionnaire research were in progress to Beijing book edifice and Wangfujing pedestrian street, this thesis also proved reasonable suggestions according to design procedures mentioned above.Hoping that the research in this paper could provide constructive logic and methods of humanization design in building site, while intending to support the planers with strategies to specific cases, in order to create a humanized, high-qualified urban space.
