Urban Water-supply is composed of three parts: getting water from source, purifying water in waterworks, distributing water via pipe network. The reliability and economy of urban Water-supply system depend on automation network of Water-supply. Based on transformation of Water-supply system in Liao oil field, this paper introduces the design of urban Water-supply monitor system based on Web and discusses the key SCADA node--highly reliable design of Water-supply monitor system in waterworks. Also the optimal problem of Water-supply pumping stations is researched and analyzed in this paper.Water-supply monitor system based on B/S mode utilizes monitoring software--WebAccess. The first-level monitor centre is established as Project node in headquarter of Water Corporation, and the second-level monitor systems are established as SCADA node in waterworks. Water Corporation can remotely monitor all the waterworks real time via this system. Based on WebAccess, IPC industrial computer, Siemens S7-200 PLC, Siemens MM430 VF, Ciyutuo water plant as a second-level instance has realized the main functions such as real time monitor and control, water supply under constant pressure with VF, monitor and control for single well and dosing system, report forms for analysis of water quality. This system not only fulfills the requirement of Ciyutuo's production, but also brings production monitor and management of Ciyutuo water plant as a second-level SCADA node into the unified framework of Water Corporation. Finally this paper presents an optimal scheduling model of water-supply pumping stations according to research and analysis. Corresponding to the model, solutions based on genetic algorithm are introduced.These days, the operation of this system is stable and safety after commissioning, which solves many defects of Water-supply system in Liao oil field such as unstable pressure of pipe network, lagging communication, fall-behind information sharing among departments. This system realizes the automatic control technique in Ciyutuo water plant and ensures the reliability and economy of the whole Water-supply system in Liao oil field.
