High-power LED(Light Emitting Diode) is a new generation of high-power light source, its high optical conversion efficiency, also known as the"green light". As a result of itself's volt-ampere characteristics , switching mode power supply of high-power LED research from the outset, the difficulties encountered. The development of LED lighting is now the general trend of energy saving and environmental protection, so the research and development of a new type of switching mode power supply of high-power LED lighting is necessary.This paper synopsis introduced the high-power LED's light-emitting characteristics, volt-ampere characteristics and the solutions of the driver design, and then recalled the switching mode power supply of high-power LED development in the past and prospected future trend. Given the high-power switching power supply LED background issues, and analysis of the design difficult. On this basis, we propose a new type of two-stage program, the former rank of PFC class, after class for the DC/DC level. The introduction of PFC inductor current critical continuous mode Boost converter, DC/DC-level model using quasi-resonant flyback converters. In order to increase the PFC level in the low-voltage input efficiency, a variable voltage output of the control program is in use.First, the CRM mode PFC of the working principle and the main circuit parameters are derived and design, as well as the L6562-based PFC control circuit design of the study in detail. Followed by detailed information on the theory of quasi-resonant mode of basic and applied, based on the NCP1377B flyback converter operating principle and steady-state characteristics of a detailed analysis;on this basis, a high-performance low-loss quasi-resonant converter design.Paper introduced the program in detail, the working principle and characteristics, and analysis of the clamp circuit and the constant pressure on TSM103 linear constant current circuit and voltage regulator in the proposed two-tier type of application program.Combination of the above-mentioned program, the paper developed a global input voltage range (90~265Vac), 12V/5A output switching power supply of high-power LED lighting.The experimental results verified the feasibility of the proposed program.
