The Prediction And Application Of Asphalt Pavement Temperature Field

The priority target of strength design for asphalt pavement is choosing the fitting asphalt mixture. It can provide pavement structure good performance of high temperature stability and crack resistance at low temperature. The pavement structure is around by natural environment,and is effected by some lasting changed environment factors. So pavement structure should not only satisfy load but also fit natural environment. Only this can sure long term pavement performance. This paper studies pavement temperature field,establish the relation between environment factors and pavement temperature,predict the distribution of pavement temperature.The pavement temperature data of some roads of shannxi province and gansu province were collected. Based on analysis of the data,the regularity of pavement temperature.of high temperature term and low temperature term are established. The relationship between extreme air temperature and pavement temperature is determined,The prediction model of pavement temperature ,which can be used in the study on high temperature stability of pavement is put forward.A high temperature prediction method based on 30 years local ground surface temperature data is presented. The temperature-rutting index is put forward,which can be used for predicting the rutting of pavement.
