Based On GPRS And Computer Technology Distribution Automation System

With the development of civil economy and the increasing of people 's living standards, our demands to electric power supply will be more, our demands to the quality and reliability of power supply will be higher and higher. The technique of distribution automation system plays an important role in increasing reliability of power supply, extending power supply capacity and decrease the line loss, lightening labor intensity. As a result of the developments of scientific technology ,especial the development of computing technology,communication technology and artificial intelligence, the technique of distribution automation system has acquired great progress.This paper introduces an application of GPRS-----a kind of network communication technology based on distribution automation system ,that is as load control system.The system uses the wireless communication faction of GPRS ,it can achieve the remote-measuring, remote-communicating and remote-controlling for the load equipments. The system can gather three-phase voltages, circuits, active power, inactive power, power factor, electric energy data, etc by automatical operation manner. It can remotely control switches, and alarm when voltages and circuits exceed their limits. The paper mainly introduces the communication of the front system, the factions of the communication software and the background software. Through introducing the basic concept of distributed automation system, the computer network and the analysis of GPRS composition modes, It proves the feasibility of GPRS applying distributed automation system.With the steady enhancement of the distribution automation level, the improvement of GPRS network, the development of computing technique, the reliability and safety of using GPRS to remotely transfer data will become higher and higher, its cost and maintenance expence will be lower and lower the prospect of supervisory system using GPRS as a communication way will be wide.
