From initial the well of market and the noons of market to contemporary large-scale shopping business street, the development of The business street has been through Phylogenetic scale from primitive to the modern age, from monotonous to Multi-dimensional age, from preliminary to high-level age. Under the impetus of Revolution Contemporary, business street has been the huge transformation regardless of the scale, the environment and the mode of business operation. The visual design have developed from the monotonous advertisement of the curtain to the unique visual design of brand individuality. At the same time, the digital medium, the print media, the advertising media and so on start to appear. The blend of Each thought and technology makes the visual design of the ancient technique to glow the new vitality and the vigor.This article take the traditional business street as the vein. As the important type of business street, it has the deeply historic tradition and culture, has the very vital role bearing the locality's historical arrangement. The article has discussed the traditional business street's historical source and developing process from the second chapter; The third chapter Has discussed the characteristic of the vision image and the medium design of traditional business street.
