The switched reluctance motor(SRM) is a product of cooperation between the electronic machinery technology, the modern power electronic technique and the microcomputer control technology. And the advantage of being sturdy in construction, inexpensive to make and flexible controlment have been caused more and more concern. It has broad prospects in industrial applications. Its driving system is an advanced electromechanical integration device. But the extensive applications of the SRM have been limited due to its drawbacks of high vibration noise and torque ripple. This dissertation is devoted to analysis and research centering on the reduction of vibration noise and torque ripple in the switched reluctance motor.A 6/4 polar SRM is designed and researched, the modelling and computing of two-dimensional magnetic field are performed, and its magnetic flux linkage curves are calculated. The effect of different stator poles to output property is studied by using finite element analysis. Since the stator radial vibration caused by radial force is the main origin of acoustic noise in SRM, the analysis and computation of radial force are the basis of vibration and acoustic noise research of SRM. On the basis of the finite element analysis of the 6/4 polar SRM, a 8/6 polar SRM is analyzed and researched. And is compared with the 6/4 polar SRM, the relationship between the radial force and structural parameter of the 8/6 polar SRM is analyzed. The proper control policy is indispensable to the reduction of vibration noise of the SRM. The SRM controller is designed based on TMS320F2812DSP MPU. On the same time, the corresponding hardware checking circuit, protection circuit, control circuit and display circuit are designed. Also the design of switching angle and controlling parameter make a great difference to the reduction of vibration noise of the SRM.
