The serious vibration and noise of switched reluctance motor(SRM)is an important reason to restrict its wide application.From the perspective of motor and control,the optimization strategy of vibration and noise suppression is a research hotspot.However,most of the current optimization strategies are difficult to apply in the actual industrial situation.This paper mainly studies the vibration and noise suppression of SRM based on radial force analysis.As the main source of SRM vibration,the SRM radial force simulation model is established.SRM vibration and noise simulation model is established to verify the proposed optimization strategy.In order to avoid the disadvantages of common optimization strategies,such as torque loss,high cost and implementation difficulties,this paper takes four-phase 8/6 SRM and three-phase 12/8 SRM as the research object,and puts forward feasible strategies suitable for production practice.Frist of all,the mode of winding connection will affect the vibration and noise of the SRM.Taking8/6 SRM as the research object,by analyzing the influence of long and short magnetic circuit excitation modes on phase radial force,the vibration and noise differences between NNNNSSSS and NSNSSNSN is compared.The radial force excitation of long magnetic circuit excitation mode is smaller,NNNNSSSS is the better winding connection mode.Secondly,this paper studies the effect of different number of poles on SRM vibration and noise.Based on the analysis of the main vibration modes,radial force sharing and the difference of the basic frequency of rotating speed between the 8/6 SRM and the 12/8 SRM,the characteristics of the vibration and noise response are analyzed.The main vibration mode of 8/6 SRM is easier to excite.Compared with the four tooth average of 12/8 SRM,the two tooth average of radial force has greater harmonic excitation in the low frequency,which makes the vibration response of 12/8 SRM is far less than that of 8/6 SRM.It is concluded that SRM based on 12/8 structure is more effective in suppressing SRM vibration and noise structure.Finally,the influence of phase current modulation on SRM vibration and noise is studied.Compared with the current chopping control,Pulse-Width Modulation(PWM)control can concentrate the randomly distributed excitation harmonic to a fixed and controllable frequency.By controlling the frequency of harmonic excitation far away from the low-order natural frequency,the effect of vibration and noise suppression can be achieved.When operating at different speeds,need to be selected more carefully for the current chopping control,PWM control and its frequency.
