Pressure indicators are mainly used in various pressure machines.They can protect the pressure and the forging pieces by monitoring the pressure and its display and provide a basis for data acquisition of a scientific theory as well.With the development of modern industry, the requirements to the work efficiency of the pressure and the suppressing parameters of the squeeze pieces become higher and higher, thus new demands have been put on to pressure indicators. On the other hand, the rapid progress in computer technology, signal processing theory and methods, and the sharp decline of the prices of DSP chips as a whole, has led the application of DSP in instruments to a more and more profound extent.The paper mainly discusses the data acquisition system based on general DSP, which is the TMS320LF2407A of TI Company. Based on the study of relevant knowledge both at home and abroad, the paper focuses on hardware and software design of the digital multi-functional pressure indicators. The overall programme of the paper was determined according to the work characteristics of the pressure and the basic principles of the analog signal acquisition. Through the choice of sensor, especially the use of chip CS5534, the system has achieved four-way signal acquisitions at the same time. This function can save the traditional pressure indicator's amplifier, filter-wave and peak value save circuit. The keyboard, LCD, alarm circuit, SCI and USB communication circuits were also designed.In this paper, it uses the programming method with pages as the main line to make the software design clear and easily realized, and also use the least square to make the system calibration more accurate. By improving the hardware and software design, the system can measure signals at one time, and calculate average according to the value set.The system provides four working modes, manometry, demarcate, calibration and setup. It also has many other functions, such as inquiry about the current eight historical suppress records, pressure alarm and sending control signals to the pressure control unit. The system is of low cost, low power consumption, good stability, and easy operation, very powerful, easy to upgrade and has a very good practical value.
