At present, prestressed bridge is the throat hub of the city roads, highways, railway lines. It plays an important role in the construction of the national economy. However, almost all of these prestressed bridges have some damage because of design, construction, deterioration of material, environment and many other factors. There are some prestressed bridges which are designed according to lower designing grade. These prestressed bridges have more and more problems of safety along with the advancement of the highway development which resulting in structural strength, stiffness and durability lower and the operating conditions can not meet the needs of society.This paper introduced the bridge dead load, live load probability model, probability model of resistance, and evaluated the reliability of common components of bridges. Computational method of the bridge substructure's probability has been discussed, including cap beam, pier column, as well as the reliability of pile. With consideration of the impact in resistance which caused by loss of prestress, the resistance decay regular of prestressed concrete structures in the atmospheric environment has bees analysed. Then, assumed that the degradation of the actual concrete structure as the square root of time relationship, paper focus on research the relationship between actual degradation of structural reliability index and maintenance costs, impact of the interest rate factors has also been consideration. At the end of this paper, based on the maintenance efficiency of structure and maintenance costs arrangements, simulation and specific discussion has been done combined with project case.
