Suspension system is one of the main components of workover rig's chassis, and its main function is to transfer the power and the torque between the wheels and the frame. It also releases the car from the strike when the car is drived in irregularity pavement. This system can protect the smooth of the car driving through dying out the vibration of the loading system..The quality of the suspension mainly depends on the suspension structure, flexibility parts and partial frequency. These key elements will greatly affect the security and reliability of the suspension and the workover rig. Therefore, a reasonable suspension structure is the key factor of the suspension quality.In order to improve the security of the suspension structure, this project has carried on many analysis and studies such as the analysis of the car's suspension structure, the structure analysis of flexibility parts, the study of the suspension system's non-liner control, the design and caculation of the front and the rear suspension for the workover rig's carrier, including the choosing of basic parameters and structure style, the confirmation of the project and the performance parameters and all kinds of testments, then the quantitative analysis , at last composed with the conponent parts and structure style to design reasonable suspension system. Through the application of this project, we have developed a reasonable structure pattern for workover rig's suspension system.
