In the progress of constructed high speed railway ,the design of choosing lines and the design of automatic block section are the first thing.For this kind of railway line for passenger traffic, which can serves for multiple unit train that can speed up to at least 200km/h and passenger train that can speed up to at last 160km/h and freight train that can speed up to at last 120km/h,it is very complicated to control the train, which is completely different from the domestic and foreign existing actual situations,and the design of the partition occlusion is also different. Laying signal machine,definiting train tracking interval and checking the length of block section to satisfy braking distances, all of these must be based on traction calculation. At present, traction calculation applied research focuses on the train operation optimization both at home and abroad, but the optimizing research of blocking section division and the tracing time interval are rarelyThe main task of the thesis is that combining train traction calculation,train movement anaLysis and the design principle of automatic block section etc. to design block section based on data of lines, locomotive,car and marshalling . The main work of the paper is as following:Based on train traction calculation theory, the thesis analyses the breaking distance algorithms of freight train,normal passenger train and high-speed passenger trains. In allusion to sections which have been designed , the paper uses pre-decelerating to reduce headway time in station , which increases carrying capacity in a certain extent. According to objectives and influence factors of signal system,the paper mainly discusses passenger special line which can be run by passenger trains and freight trains, which constructs block range partition optimization model using PSO based on considering all the restrict conditions. Of course, the paper simulates the model to reach a high-quality solution. Finally, the paper gives a conclusion of the research work in the paper and prospects further research work in automatic block range partition.
