The research on the imaging satellite planning problem can be divided into two types: the automatic generation of mission scheme(AGMS), and the automatic generation of operation command(AGOC). Currently, the international and domestic research mostly focuses on the AGMS, which has gained quite a lot of achievements. And relatively less research on the AGOC is found in public literatures. Therefore, aiming at the automatic generation of the imaging satellite operation command, this thesis studies the key question about modeling, algorithm, system and the mechanism to solve subgoal conflict of the imaging satellite operation planning problem(ISOPP). The main achievements are as follows:1. Presenting the imaging satellite operation planning model(ISOPM).The primary task of the research on the ISOPP is to present the model which can reflect essence of problem according to the characteristics of the ISOPP. Starting from the characteristics of the image satellite mission, and compared with classical planning language and planning modeling method, this thesis analyzes the applicability of PDDL(Planning Domain Definition Language) in describing the ISOPP, and the model description ability of the PDDL-based planning modeling method. Based on these, the ISOPM is presented by defining type,predicate,function and action within the PDDL-based planning modeling framework. Compared with the models formulated in previous studies, the model we present includes more model elements, owns better description ability and is more rational, practical and applicable.2. The solving algorithm of the ISOPP is researched. In order to validate the model and system we present, a heuristic planning algorithm based on temporal planning graph is applied to solve the ISOPP. This thesis emphasizes on analyzing the problem solving ability of the algorithm and the applicability of the algorithm in solving the ISOPP.3. The imaging satellite operation planning system(ISOPS)and the mechanism to solve subgoal conflict are researched. A new PDDL-based imaging satellite operation planning system architecture is proposed and designed to solve the automatic generation of the imaging satellite operation command and the subgoal conflict problem effectively. Based on the system design, the PDDL-based ISOPS is realized with Java language. Finally, the typical simulation examples are given to verify the validity of ISOPM, corresponding algorithm and system.This research presents a method to solve the automatic generation of the imaging satellite operation command, which serves as a reference for solving other types of space resource operation planning problems.
