Based on the development, application and principle of accelerometer, several schemes of optical accelerometer are analyzed. The basic structures and operating principles are introduced. At last the optical accelerometer based on flexural reflector is choosen as our study target. The correlative theories, including laser beat frequency principle and laser stabilized frequency technology are represented. Primary design, theory analysis, emulation analysis and primary experiment of flexural reflector are emphasized, and the operating range and sensitivity et al. are found. The emulation analysis of a modified structure is achieved based on ANSYS. The influence of the flexural reflector structure on sensitivity and natural frequency is analyzied in theory; and the relationship between the flexural reflector structure and the offset change is found by structural static analysis and modal analysis respectively. The further design and research of optical accelerometer will probably be under this paper's guidance.
