Nowadays, semi-rigid asphalt pavement is the most important pavement structure in our country. In order to improve the fatigue properties of semi-rigid base materials which are the main bearing stratums of the road , the fatigue resistance strength is principal performance. So it is necessary to improve their fatigue properties through reasonable composition design.Fatigue properties of several semi-rigid base materials and attenuation of modulus are researched in this paper. But the cement stabilizing aggregate mixture which belongs to skeleton-density frame is put more attention . For comparison, cement stabilizing aggregate mixture belonging to suspend-density frame and cement fly-ash stabilized hoggin are also researched. According to different materials,based on the third point loading fatigue experiments under indoor condition, Weibull distribution theory is used to process data ,then the prediction models of the fatigue properties under indoor condition are obtained. For different materials , the degradation laws of property are obtained by capturing strain variation at the bottom of specimens during loading and analyzing tensile strain at undersurface of specimens which is located in center section. In order to further explain the influences of material composition on fatigue properties , relationships between material composition,several parameters and fatigue properties are obtained based on summarizing the available experimental results about fatigue experiments of semi-rigid base materials. In order to deeply understand influences of material composition on fatigue property , grey relation theory is used in this paper to research comprehensive influences of material composition on fatigue properties . Finally, mix design procedure of semi-rigid materials with excellent fatigue property is given.
