Based On Traffic Statistics Analysis The Average Travel Speed Of Vehicle

With the sustained and rapid development of highway infrastructure, the constant deepening of market economic mechanism reform, the expanding of road traffic services, and the profound changes of transport structure and organizations mode. Highway traffic will be an important indicator to reflect the role of highway in the Integrated Transport. The establishment of highway traffic indicators will become the important basis of evaluating the planning and operation of the highway. It will improve China's highway statistical system.Toll collection system databases in each Provinces and autonomous regions are the main source of traffic statistics. They are the data sources formatted on the purpose of non-survey. The data sources have a larger amount of data and the data is complete and accurate.Based on traffic statistics, this paper takes statistics and analysis to average travel speed of highway vehicles. The statistics and analysis of bus on the situation of changes of different speed were done in different models, different road mileage and different numbers of traffic lane. The statistics and analysis of trucks on the situation of changes of different speed were done in different axle type, different road mileage, different numbers of traffic lane and different circumstances of vehicles' exceed while a distinction between empty and heavy vehicles was concerned.This paper considered the practical application, based on traffic statistics analysis the average travel speed of vehicle, and was designed to provide the consultation and inspiration for the transport indicators.
