For Coupled walls,coupling beams are the first line of energy dissipation under earthquake. So coupling beams is importable energy dissipating component. When coupling beams have little depth-to-span ratio, routine coupling beams have less energy dissipation. there are no design methods for coupling beams when the depth-to-span ratio is less than 2.5, many scholars study in experimentation ,But the theory still isn't perfect. In this study, ANSYS10.0 software of the finite element is used to investigate seismic response of the different coupling beams under different factor. In this study include the following the finite element analysis was processed to SRC coupling beams with analysis the the development of cracking and behaviour,for studying the factors of affect the coupling beam about the responses. The element analysis was processed to SRC coupling beam with different depth-to-span ratio; different span-depth ratio,the concrete strength of coupling beams,the Height of web plate of SRC. Conclusion through calculation analysis was obtained, include the following: When depth-to-span ratio is 1.0, the small depth-to-span coupling beam in collocate the profiled bar ,pass to install the diagonal,at connect 45 degrees of the coupling beam should form effectively organization of transfer force stress in concentrate area. It make that the loading ability of longitudinal reinforcing.steel bar can be get valid exertive and pass,lately install reinforcing bar can effectively restrict the crack of concrete opening. The concrete sidelong press make the sidelong shear destroy delayed.couplling beams exerts much better energy dissipation the cracking of coupling beams ameliorate to some extent, Dissipation was improved. by passing force coupulling beams make the force of wall pass into coupulling beams.finally the coupulling force equality.The values on axial compression ration of shear wall had better controlled between 0.3 and 0.5,The concrete strength had better bigger than 30,the height of web plate wasn't height ,it make inclined press destruction of concrete lead to inclined press shear destruction to postpone appear, then make the coupling beam have to better ability of dissipation With the force well balanced, the newly designed coupling beam is much ductile under earthquake attack. In comparison with the hidden columnar diagonally bar reinforced small depth-to-span ratio beams, the newly designed coupling beam has the advantages of achieving smaller span.
