Explosion technology has been widely applied in successful engineering of city demolition. It has showed great superiority,but the impacts of explosion dust seldom controlled. This paper,aiming at the costs of explosion dust control and the improvement of dust absorption efficiency,has put forward the methods of capturing dust through water mist produced by a charger.The main content and conclusion of this thesis are as follows:Firstly,it introduces the sources and characteristics of blasting dust which may bring about the negative effects,meanwhile, analyzes the particle size and velocity of dust which after blast loading.Secondly , it introduces the breaking mechanism of water mist. By combining the high speed photography data with the numerical simulation software autodyn, we can successfully simulate the particle motion of blasting water mist in the near field region. Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) is the technique used for the simulation method,without entanglement and degeneration of the mesh, in research on breakup of liquid under blast loading.Thirdly,it introduces the mechanism of water mist dedust. By compare the predecessor water mist dedust data with the new method,adding some surfactant,date processing in experimental, then can derive that the efficiency of reducing dust rate improved by adding surfactant in water bag.In the last place, capturing dust using water mist resulting from an explosion is a new method that solves the problem of blasting dust from demolishing city buildings and it has already obtained application in this project.
