Infilled wall frame structure is a kind of structure system used more widely currently. The frame bear loads and the infilled wall cut off the room. Its layout is flexible , the function of rooms easy to adjust, engineering cost economic, deformation ability good and the ability of consuming earthquark strong.It is a kind of better structrual syestem of earthquake resis-tance.At present,the principle of calculation about the infilled wall frame structure is that just considering frame structural bearing force. The caculation only consider frame structural stif iness while the infilled wall as load applied on the frame. Taking into account the infilled wall' s impact on lateral stiffness, the building code has some reduction to the period of the struction.This means consider the impact of the infilled wall on the whole just on the calculation of the cycle. So the effect of absorbing earthquark energy have amplified. When calculating the component's load , the entire structural loads are assigned on the frame component' s stifiness, overlooking infilled wall' s bearing capacity and disadvantage factor. Generally speaking, this method of calculation meet the structural safety in most cases and have some safety stocked when infilled wall are regularly assigned. But the frame structural bearing load is affected greatly in the infilled wall with complex layout or the more opening hole . Ignoreing the impact of the infilled wall is detrimental to calculate. This thesis will argue the infilled wall' s impact to the structure of frame from the following aspects.(1) Infilled wall' s impact on lateral stiffness of frame structure. In the earthquake, the structural lateral stiffness deside the size of structural absorption to the earthquake force. This paper will analysis the contribution of infilled wall to the lateral stiffness by establishing a model and allocation of the level force between the frame and infilled wall in order to draw views and suggestions to the engineering design.(2) The impact of infilled wall' s hole on lateral stiffness. because of doors and windows or large space in the housing structure, it is inevitable to open hole on the infilled wall .Therefore, the impact of the infilled wall with hole on lateral stiffness is very important. This paper will establish a model to analysis the impact of infilled wall with hole on framework.(3) Through analysing the impact of infilled wall with hole and no hole to seismic performance of frame structure, an effective model and calculation basis are suggested and to improve the current calculation.
