The anchorage zone of the pylon is a key part for cable-stayed bridge, where the local concentrated force of cable will be transferred to the pylon safely and uniformly. Because of the powerful local concentrated forces, anchoring forces of prestressed steels and weak factors generated by opening holes, the force state in this area is very complicated. Therefore, the force performance of cable-stayed bridge tower anchorage zone has been concerned by the bridge professionals. Cable-stayed bridge tower anchorage zone is also a difficult and critical problem of design and construction. This dissertation is based on the Jintang Bridge in Zhoushan island of Zhejiang province. It is a five-span continous steel box girder cable-stayed bridge. In order to understand its mechanical characteristics and load transfer mechanism, and provide evidence for the design and operation management, a full-scale model has been tested for the anchorage zone of the pylon.The main work in this dissertation is as follows:1,This dissertation introduces the development history and application actuality at home and abroad, also summarizes the characteristics and structure system of cable-stayed bridge.2,This dissertation introduces the anchor structure of the cable, steel tower and concrete tower, the steel beam structure of anchorage zone, as well as the layout and structure of prestressed reinforcement in anchorage zone.3,In this dissertation, we design a mode of the anchorage zone according to the similitude theory. In order to make sure the survey points and load styles, we used the ANSYS software to establish a model to analyse the stress. The stress of steel anchor beam and steel anchor box were emphatically analysed and compared to the test result. Stress anslysis has been made for steel corbel and concrete region in some load styles. We verify the working station under the disadvantage design load and also summarize the force distribution.
