Project quality management is not only the key element of modern management engineering but also the core task of project construction management. Project quality is the most fundamental part of project construction and is key to the success of project construction. Quality management of hydroelectric engineering project is the core elements to be controlled by supervisory engineer in hydroelectric engineering. However, due to the unique characteristics of hydroelectric engineering project, its quality control becomes a touch and complicate task.In the practice of hydroelectric project construction, quality issue is the factor that influences the hand-over of project on schedule and the realization of expected benefits. Despite the formulation and putting into force of many laws and statutes relating to engineering quality by the Chinese government in recent years and the enforcement of administrative supervision over large-scale projects by construction administration authorities at all levels project construction quality control still lacks reliable data source and real basis due to un-establishment of the scientific quality evaluation index system.This article takes the example of Guizhou Suofengying Hydropower Station to fully present the whole process of hydroelectric project construction quality control, illustrate the content, process flow and method of construction quality control for Suofengying Hydropower Station, and point out the quality control task and focus of each department at construction preparation stage, construction execution stage, completion inspection and post evaluation stage, which will provide a solution to the quality control problems in current project construction.It also introduces the relevant model and method of project quality control and evaluation and makes a quantitative evaluation of the project quality of Suofengying Hydropower Station by applying fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to have a more objective and scientific conclusion.This article aims to provide a practical and operational research result, instructive to those supervisory engineers engaged in quality control of hydroelectric engineering project.
